QA TEST ANALYST / SOFTWARE TESTER x 3 ( Contract/Permanent)

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified IT Professionals for the above roles.

The successful candidate will be the first dedicated tester to join a growing software team. In addition to carrying out the testing function, the successful candidate will work with the Development Manager in formulating and implementing a formal testing strategy for the team.

The ideal candidate will be a self motivated with proven experience of testing enterprise applications developed with the .NET Framework.

Based out of Ergo’s head office in Richmond Road, candidates must also be available to work on client sites, in the city centre, as and when required.

Skills/Abilities:

• Testing of systems developed in .NET, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
• Both manual and automated test engineering experience
• Excellent Testing Methodology Experience
• Produce structured test plans
• Responsible for developing test scripts
• Responsible for creating, executing and recording the results of test cases
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent documenting and report writing skills
• Practical experience of testing multi-layer applications
• The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Drive and self-motivation

Expertise to include:

• Minimum 2 Years testing experience
• Exposure to test in a financial setting
• Positive / Negative Testing
• Test Planning
