Job Description:

Following a recent major contract win BIS has an exciting autonomous position for a fully qualified accountant. This role revolves around managing a complex operation near Huntingdon, providing full financial support and developing this key contract to its full potential. Duties will include the development of a robust financial control structure within the operating system, the production of timely and relevant financial reports, and the recruitment and development of a new finance team. As well as responsibility for the financial operation, this role involves extensive commercial input into the ongoing integrity of the contract, liaising with contract partners both on and off site, and interacting closely with BIG, MOD and other joint venture companies. With a direct reporting line into the Finance Director, this position is key to the success of this high profile contract.

Candidate Specification:

Fully qualified ACA, ACCA CIMA Commercially astute with solid project management experience. Accustomed to innovating to promote continual process improvement. Proactive and motivational manager who will need to recruit own team. Understanding and practical experience of IFRS. Ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships. Strong systems knowledge including advanced Excel use.

Skills:

Commercial experience of working within similar industry advantageous. Interaction with Senior Management Team requiring diplomacy and influencing skills.
