Does anyone have any real production experience using Apache web server vs Yaws(Yet another web server)?

there is a test where it shows that yaws can hold more than 80000 parallel sessions while apache web server is limited to 4000. I believe this information is old.
Are there any new benchmarks and tests? Is Yaws that good?
Why it is not the most popular web server yet?
