Job Purpose


This role will contribute to T-Mobile's success by supporting T Mobile's commitment to the Stick Together Promise. Helping to design and build business critical web applications using all of Microsoft's technologies. Lead a team of developers that reacts quickly to the needs of a fast paced business. Thinking outside the box is a must for this role. We are in need of a lead developer that takes initiative and is self motivated to always do better than its been done in the past. Position Requirements


A successful individual for this role will possess extensive experience with ASP.Net 1.0 and 2.0 in a highly transactional environment, as well as a solid understanding UML, Design Patterns, Object Oriented Design and Object Oriented Programming. The ability to help a non-technical business partner better understand and define project requirements as well as system functionality will make candidate stand out. Seven years of rapid application development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, COM+, XML,XSLT, ASP, ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, and SOAP XML Web Services is needed. The candidate will also have experience with multiple system integration of mission critical applications. Must be willing to provide on call and after hours support as required for production releases and to respond and provide Tier 4 support on production outages. The ability to make technical decisions that drives solutions, standards and internal processes for the development team.


Other qualities that will help this individual be successful at T-Mobile are ability to manage multiple assignments, strong verbal and written communication and meeting facilitation skills. Excellent documentation and project management capabilities, ability to work in delivery focused environment while demonstrating personal flexibility, and must posses a "can do"/"team" attitude.


The ability to take initiative to get a task done on time and in the highest quality is a must. To be able to gain the confidence of the business and the team that you are the right developer for the task is essential. Enjoy working in a faced paced project environment. It is important that you can convey your ideas and solutions in a way that even a non-technical person can evaluate the risks and benefits of the task.


Preferred Skills


Familiarity with other technologies that would be beneficial, but not required are: Siebel, Tibco, UNIX-HP UX, StarTeam, Advanced Visio or UML Documentation, Source Control, using either Visual Source Safe or Borland's StarTeam, SharePoint Server 2003, or Portal Server, Search Applications, Usability Practice (Human Interaction Factors), OLAP, LDAP, Active Directory, Window Services. Previous wireless industry experience is a plus.


Education/Vocational Training:


§ B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
