We are currently seeking a Training Instructional Designer - ITL/Web.  This position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating training materials for instructor-led and LMS hosted, on-line training. Additional responsibilities include the design, development and administration of Web Based Training (WBT) and instructor-led training content in response to customer requirements. Shepherd projects from start to finish. This position will be involved in creating proposals, assessing corporate needs, conducting analysis, determining project scope, designing, and developing curricula. Additionally, the training designer is responsible for the launching and Internet publication of the WBT training as well as administration of updates, LMS student enrollment and tracking.


Associates degree is required with (2) years of experience in the field or in a related area. Knowledge of commonly-used instructional design techniques, adult learning principles and concepts, practices, and procedures within the training and development field will be required. Formal education in Instructional/Web Design and/or Instructional Technology is a plus. Experience in designing web-based learning, instructor-led courses, and reference materials is also a plus. Technical aptitude needed including working knowledge of webinar platforms and e-learning tools including Lectora, Captivate, HTML, Dreamweaver, and others preferred.
