Firstborn is currently looking for Senior Flash Developers to work on upcoming high-profile projects in our Los Angeles office. Our work: http://www.firstbornmultimedia.com/  

 

We want individuals who are always looking to explore new ways to use Flash technology, live and breathe ActionScript and bring PSD’s to life in Flash. We need senior level Flash developers who are fully versed in code driven sites, modular development and an understanding of integration with dynamic sites. We prefer local developers to enable close collaboration with our team and clients and have freelance and full-time positions available.  

 

Our Los Angeles office continues to grow and provides an opportunity for capable individuals to become leaders in their area of expertise to mentor and inspire others. RESPONSIBILITIES:  

- Work hand-in-hand with the producers in Firstborn’s Los Angeles office

- Create internet applications using the latest Flash technology

- Develop and program websites based on Photoshop comps

- Work within strict project timelines and regularly review work-in-progress

- Work with art director to maintain design integrity throughout flash experience

- Work with technical director to integrate site with backend if project requires

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

- Candidates with a strong portfolio of work showing artistic and technical ability.

- Senior level skills in building dynamic, interactive web applications using AS 2.0 & 3.0, including: OOP, functions, arrays, prototyping, sending and loading XML, coding in multiple levels, etc.

- Creativity is an absolute must! Our development team is constantly in need of portable, unique and sustainable solutions.

- Attention to detail, rigorous testing during development, writing clean code and developing optimized sites.

- Creative problem solving, find solutions to project challenges
