Headsprout is looking for Flash Animator

Job details: Headsprout.com is looking for experienced Flash animators to create fun, engaging web-delivered educational products in conjunction with a major toy company.

A solid knowledge of Flash symbol-based animation is required, and traditional animation skills are a plus.

Each artist would be responsible for all aspects of the animation from start-to-finish, including character setup, creating animatics, background design, print illustrations for books, optimizing animation for web delivery, and final animation.

We're looking for folks that work well in a team, but that can also work well independently in a fast-paced production environment. A great sense of humor and kid-friendly aesthetic is a must since our target audience are kids aged 3+. This would be a full-time, on-site gig based in Capitol Hill/Seattle.

Minimum 2 years experience with Flash animation production. Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Freehand a plus.

Portfolio with animation and illustration samples required. Online samples preferred.
