Job details: Nik Software is a privately held software development company dedicated to the growing field of digital photography. Nik Software works with the industry's top software and hardware manufacturers and develops software that is used worldwide by a broad range of digital imaging and photographic professionals.

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to be responsible for Nik Software's e-commerce system and help define, design, build, manage and maintain Nik Software's primary web site and ancillary sites using modern best-practice web standards. Further, the Web Developer help execute a variety of e-marketing programs to facilitate customer communications, lead generation and web analytic programs.

Job Duties:

? Design and develop new web functionality - front-end and back-end modifications to the current Nik Software web site as necessary to optimize customer experience, analyze behavior and promote customer loyalty
? Create requirements, architect, develop and manage development of new Nik Software web site, with robust e-commerce, analytics, customer-centric systems, etc.
? Contribute to web application UI design
? Recommend and optimize company web sites for maximum search engine ranking performance
? Work with in-house graphic designers to ensure fresh, dynamic, brand consistent content updates to the company Website in accordance with company CI standards
? Ensure robust web analytics are in place for the web site and customer communications; provide analysis and recommendations
? Specify requirements, recommend and execute a best-practice customer communications plan,including but not limited to building, emailing and tracking email-style customer newsletters; ensure compliance with CAN SPAM act
? Specify and integrate first class e-commerce experience for Nik Software
? Identify, research and interface with 3rd party outside vendors or partners as necessary to further corporate goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

? Experience integrating E-commerce systems
? Strong knowledge and proven skills in CSS/HTML and other current web technologies
? Experience handling implementation of language-localized files
? Experience developing or integrating web content management systems (CMS)
? Knowledge and demonstrated skills with Javascript
? Experience integrating dynamic data feeds and database content into web pages
? Experience integrating Flash content
? Experience with PHP
? Extremely detail-oriented, creative, dependable and trustworthy, with positive and inquisitive attitude
? Expert skills in use of PC and Mac operating systems
? Experience standing up server environment
? Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
? Experience managing outside vendors
? Demonstrated experience with design and development of Websites for Internet-based businesses

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

? Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Dreamweaver (or equivalent), and other web creative software tools
? Knowledge of Nik Software products (Dfine, Nik Sharpener Pro, Nik Color Efex Pro) a plus
? Demonstrated skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
? Technical documentation, code-commenting and copy-editing skills
? Experience with Flash ActionScript
? Experience managing staff, both technical and non-technical

Other Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and training
? 3 5 years experience as a web developer
? Able to work extended hours as necessary to meet deadlines
? Travel may be required to participate in events
