Job details: Physics Programmer The team that brought you "Scarface" is looking for a Physics Programmer to join their team on a full time basis... and that's where you come in.
Reporting to the Technical Director of the Scarface Engine and in conjunction with Radicals Physics team, the Physics Programmer designs and implements cutting-edge real-time physical simulations systems. Responsibilities include development of new features, platform speed and memory optimizations for the Scarface Engine. The Physics Programmer will be developing software for the PS3, Xbox360, and the PC.

This position reports to the Technical Director of the Scarface Engine.
Qualifications:
Education requirements include a BSc in Physics or Mathematics, a strong background in Computer Science, plus one year experience in the games industry. You will be working closely with the game teams to help define how they can best utilize physics in their game. Solid interpersonal and communication skills are critical to this role. A passion for video games and software development is essential as well as the ability to work self-directed and as part of a team.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of mathematics
Strong knowledge of physics algorithms related to games
Rigid body dynamics
Collision detection / response
Solver algorithms
Cloth / hair simulation
Forward/inverse kinematics
Experience using Physics libraries to implement game physics features a plus.
Excellent C++ programming skills
Game console, real-time systems programming experience an asset
