Cryptic Studios is looking for Lead Programmer
duration - Full Time

Job details: Lead Programmer Everyday you could be:

* Lead the day-to-day management of the programming team, including the planning and scheduling of workloads
* Ensure good communication between programmers and other members of the team
* Help identify areas of risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.
* Work with Design and Art Leads to create a technical design and milestone deliverables for the team.
* Provide direct leadership for a group of 5+ software engineers.
* Develop architecture and design software systems for the project.



Things wed like to see:

* Extensive experience with C programming
* Proven ability to architect high-level complex software systems.
* Strong CS background: data-driven design, abstraction, algorithm design, optimization, systems, etc.
* Excellent leadership skills and mentoring capability.
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Must have successfully shipped at least 1 product as a lead programmer.
* Loves games
* 4 year degree recommended
