Purpose of the Position
The Software Developer is responsible for design, development, maintenance, and implementation of vMix applications and website. Duties include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications for vMix products, unit testing and troubleshooting, ongoing assessment of site UI, and making recommendations regarding new web technology.

Qualifications
1. BS or BA, or equivalent of work experience
2. Three plus years experience in PHP with significant experience building database-driven web applications.
3. Experience working with media (video, audio, images) preferred.
4. Experience with programming in Perl, customizing Apache and working in Linux preferred.
5. Experience in all of the following areas:
a. Linux
b. JavaScript (specifically manipulating the DOM, DHTML)
c. XML (specifically traversing XML via JavaScript, AJAX)
d. CSS (specifically building tableless web pages)
e. MySQL
f. PHP 5 (specifically working with objects and building classes)
6. Prefer experience with Flash.
7. Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
9. Ability to interface professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel, both within and outside the company in fast paced, dynamic environment.
10. Able to follow-through, assume responsibility and use good judgment.
