Job details: Nintendo DS Programmer - AUSTIN, TX Amaze Entertainment Austin seeks an organized, creative individual to lead the development of a high profile Nintendo DS title. The ideal candidate has worked as a producer on shipped titles and is able to set the vision for the game and lead the team and client relationship to fulfill that vision.

Amaze is located in the heart of downtown Austin, within walking distance of restaurants, theaters, hike and bike trails, and music clubs.


Responsibilities & Requirements:
Establishes direction of game with designer and team leads
Point of contact for publisher and overall leader of development team
Ensures project is scoped appropriately and milestones are met or exceeded
Maintains excellent communication with team and client
Works with leads and development manager to maintain documentation and schedules
Owns and maintains budget for project
Helps recruit and staff the team with exceptional talent
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication abilities.
Scheduling and scoping using Microsoft Project and Excel.
Comfortable multi-tasking.
Art, design, coding and prototyping skills are a plus.
