My client, a dynamic, creative internet/web agency, offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Perl Developer with ECommerce experience.
Function: Working with the production team on mulitple, high standard web development projects; *Responsive to client requests *Implement Development and maintanance work *Implement structural code enhancements and performance improvements *Create technical specifications when necessary *Porting sites to MOD Perl 2/Apache 2.
Essential Experience: 1)Minimum 3-5 year's PERL programming experience in a CGI environment, preferably MOD Perl. 2)Experience working in an ecommerce development project. 3)2 years+ OOP programming ideally with Perl. 4)3 years+ MYSQL database based SQL development, Javascript, HTML.
Desirable Experience: Working knowledge of C/Java, Use and knowledge of CVS, Exposure to some form of templating engine, 3 years+ experience of working in, a Linux / Apache server environment.
