Our client, a leading global provider of data, news and analytics is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Software Developer to work on real-time market data feeds and high performance systems. Responsible for the full implementation life cycle, effective communication skills are vital as frequent interactions with other groups and team members are necessary. You MUST have 5 years experience programming in C on UNIX systems (preferably Solaris), and 3 years experience with XML. You must be a self-starter who can work independently or within a team, and you must be able to follow set development procedures, providing full design and support documentation for any project. Experience in real-time programming, network protocols, ACE, TAO, Perl, Doxygen, OpenSSL, Xerces, Zlib, CVS and with financial data feeds is a plus.
