General Job Summary:

The Rendering Programmer works closely with artists and other programmers to design and implement graphical features for our next-gen game. Day to day, you will be implementing custom shaders, advanced lighting, and special F/X as part of the game team.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

Design and implement new rendering solutions for next-gen platforms

Implement custom shaders and frame buffer effects

Implement next-gen lighting, weather and time-of-day effects

Support artists to design shaders and implement special effects in the world

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering, equivalent technical degree, or industry experience

2+ year(s) of professional programming experience in the graphics or games industry

Soft-Skill Requirements:

Solid interpersonal and communication skills

Positive attitude

Ability to work self-directed and as part of a team

Technical Skills:

Strong math, and C/C++ programming skills

Object-oriented design and graphics algorithm knowledge

Solid software engineering skills

Understanding of the hardware 3D rendering pipeline

Experience profiling, optimizing and writing optimized code

Bonus Skills:

Passion for games

Shipped previous console game titles

Experience with next-gen consoles
