Job details: Entry Level Gameplay Programmer Nihilistic Software is seeking a highly motivated entry level gameplay programmer to work on a new PS3/Xbox 360 based original next-generation title being developed for a top publisher. This position is full-time, on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area and includes a competitive salary, full benefits, and profit sharing.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement gameplay features - controls, AI, scripts, game rules, etc. - in C++ on next-generation consoles.
- Create small tools & editors to help artists & designers manage game data & features better, using C#.
- Work closely with game designers, artists, and animators to implement and polish a variety of gameplay features.
- Develop tools to favilitate data driven gameplay changes.
- Reliably finish tasks on time and to a high level of code quality.
- Be willing to work in a fast paced, open atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- C++ programming and debugging experience required.
- C# programming experience is a plus.
- Solid basis in 3D mathematics & some physics.
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Have a passion for creating and playing video games.
- Maya experience, especially working with the Maya API, a plus.
