Job details: Senior Tools Programmer Job Summary:

The ideal candidate would have experience working in large cutting-edge tool technology systems and the ability to design, plan and program complex tool components, especially using the Maya API. The candidate must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of understanding towards game tool production and an adaptability to meet the needs of multiple projects utilizing common tools technology.

Job Responsibilities:

Research into cutting-edge tool chain systems and processes to improve production workflow.
Programming of core tool systems to required coding standards.
Working with Technology Programmers, Technical Directors, Development Directors, QA Testers and game project production staff.
Development of technical design specification, implementation and test plans.
Testing, debugging and revision of new or legacy tool systems.
Contributing innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development.

Job Requirements:

Experience in the design and implementation of cutting edge tool systems
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or Mathematics
5+ years experience in advance C++/OOP architecture design and implementation
3+ years experience in tools programming
Experience in Maya API programming
Experience in MFC
Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices
Excellent analytical and communication skills
