Backbone Entertainment Canada is hiring Software Engineers to join our growing Vancouver studio.

We are searching for talented, motivated and experienced people who enjoy working in a close, team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining video game software.

Passionate about creating games, the right candidate will work in small teams of 5-15 people, producing high quality titles in concise development cycles.

Requirements

Experience designing and building game systems.

Proficient at programming in C/C++, minimum 2 years professional experience.

Minimum 2 years scripting language experience (e.g. Python).

Teamwork, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.

Tool development (Level editor, GUI) experience is a plus.

Must be legal to work in Canada.

Education: Relevant post-secondary education, or equivalent progressive professional experience.
