Job details: BREW Programmer Superscape has a requirement for a BREW programmer to play a major role in helping it build its deployment group. As a top-tier 2D games publisher and the worlds leading 3D mobile games developer and publisher, thanks to its Swerve technology, Superscape is looking for a proactive and passionate individual to help build a world-class deployment department spanning 2D and 3D applications porting.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the 3D BREW Deployment Manager, the role, based in San Clemente, California, will have responsibility for Porting Superscapes 3D and some 2D BREW titles to target handsets. Work with new precommercial hardware to identify new porting challenges, potential issues , and any new hardware features we should support.

Key responsibilities include:
Rapid and high-quality porting of any title to selected BREW target handsets (both 2D and 3D)
Ability to quickly look through and understand other software engineers source code and thought process.
Be able to quickly problem solve and identify game-play issues or hardware issues.
Close collaboration with Superscapes testing team to ensure the highest level of quality.

Key Skills required:
Passion for Games.
BA/BS in Computer Science.
Experience in programming C/C++.
Experience in BREW Platform Programming.
Good knowledge of software design practices including modularity documentation, event-driven architecture, object-oriented design.
Ability to effectively and efficiently problem solve.
Ability to cope with pressure.
Self-starter, proactive individual ready for a challenge!
A good communicator, who can communicate well with technical and non-technical staff.


Other Skills:
Good understanding of the mobile industry is a plus.
Good knowledge of mobile devices limitations is a plus.
J2ME Platform Programming is a plus.
Experience in software, and more importantly computer, console or mobile games development is a plus.
