Hey, how can I get a mouseout effect to play on mouseout of a button?
Like a fade when your mouse is taken off a button

So I add that in my button action, but how do I tell it to play a certain frame of a movie clip

Target the clip in the actions of the rollOut cmd

Ah, so my button should actually be like a movie clip rather

"yourFrame" would be a frame label, else, you can just use the number of the frame yu want to start at

Where would I store the movie clip

Button can afect the mc

So a movieclip with an empty first frame, hidden ontop of my button
With stop action on first frame

Wherever yu want, you can target it thru an absolute path i.e. _root.yourClip
Name your clip yourClip for that to work
