Perpetual Entertainment is looking for Lead Server Engineer

Job details: Lead Server Engineer ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Server Engineer to modify and enhance pre-existing MMO server.
Manage game functionality and other server engineers.
Work with other MMO server team to share and reuse existing infrastructure.
Implement much of the game functionality code server-side on a distributed Linux platform.
Assist the Director of Engineering with management and scheduling duties.
Participate in technical and creative design.


QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Extensive experience developing networked applications, preferably client-server.
Strong familiarity with Linux development using C++.
Some Familiarity with Windows C++ programming in MS Developer's Studio.
Knowledge of networking, Unix and MMO rchitectures.
Developed and documented technical designs.
Aid with general profiling, optimization, and bug fixing.
