Job details: Graphics Programmer Blizzard is looking for a talented and enthusiastic graphics programmer with game programming experience to join our team in Irvine. Come and work with Blizzard to help turn game design concepts into reality, and create virtual worlds that gamers will hopefully enjoy for years to come. The ideal candidate would be someone who has worked on at least one major video game title and has a wealth of programming skills.

Requirements

Strong C/C++ and PC programming skills
Two years of game and graphics programming experience and experience working on at least one shipped title
Passion for graphics programming and algorithms
3D Graphic API experience (Direct3D 9+ and/or OpenGL)
Good familiarity with modern graphics hardware
Experience with code optimization
A passion for games
Plusses

Shader programming experience (HLSL/GLSL)
Good familiarity with modern graphics hardware
Animation programming experience
Experience programming graphical effects
Experience with programming with a 3D Graphics tool chain
Experience with programming User Interfaces
Experience with programming SSE/Assembly code
Familiarity with 3DS Max
Strong math background
Prior 3D development work experience on MMORPG, RPG, and/or RTS games
