My Client is seeking a skilled PHP Programmer, with a proven record delivering scalable, efficient and modularised solutions, ideally with experience of web programming in an ISP / Telco / Web based environment.

You will be a graduate and have at least 3 years' experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP). You will have had extensive exposure to the full software development lifecycle and a thorough understanding of web security. JavaScript experience is also considered.

Further requirements for this role include:

* Experience of developing in a test-driven environment would be advantageous, plus the ability to design key elements of the software infrastructure for the business.
* Create and review technical specifications for enterprise level applications.
* Development of applications in a scaleable, reliable, modular, and intrinsically secure manner, ensuring high quality and optimal performance.
* Production of working prototypes as and when required. Review peer development work and ensure it complies with the internal development coding standards.
* Transfer knowledge to other team members of development work undertaken, including design, implementation and documentation.
* Ensuring that all timelines are adhered to and communicated. Work on major business opportunities in conjunction with other software engineers and technical architects.
* Provide coaching and support to other team members, be able to explain technical concepts to senior management and external clients.
* Willingness to work with established and emerging alternative technologies.
* Aptitude to write clear and structured technical documentation (ideally using UML).
