Hi all. I've got an html form. I want to trigger a sql query (via php) when a field is exited, based on the value of the field, and fill in another field with the results of the query automatically
Am I able to do this with javascript?
I already have the php function written that takes the parameter of the field and returns the result

Well ... its /possible/ - http://jibbering.com/2002/4/httprequest.html - but make sure you have a sane backup, and I *strongly* suggest that you don't use an <input> for output.
