The Global Account Manager is responsible for generating new revenue from the sale of high bandwidth (DS3 and above) IP transit services together with associated value added services, to corporations, large network companies and multinationals, both domestically and internationally.

This role requires management of strategic business opportunities and may involve significant analysis of technical and commercial terms.

Your skills and experience should include:
- 5-7 years experience
- Develop of complex business solutions in Telecom/ ISP industries
- Successful track record with National or Major Accounts - International sales experience preferred.
- Track record of over-achieving sales quotas
- Understanding of technologies & economics of the Internet. Familiar with unique technical requirements of large network customers, key global IP companies & all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written, communicate with senior management
- Prepare & deliver professionally structured written customer proposals..
- Work efficiently with finance, sales engineering, legal, IP engineering, & with sales management in NTT affiliate companies.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard 9am-6pm US time zone hours

Your responsibilities will include:
- Generate new sales consistent with quarterly targets
- Prepare commercial and technical service proposals and ensure such proposals are technically and commercially sound
- Development and maintenance of strong relationships with business executives in prospect and customer organizations
- Development of close working relationships with NTT international affiliate companies
- Development of a sales plan consistent with department objectives. Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan
- Performs other duties as assigned.
