Job details: Animation Systems Engineer (Level III) - Run-Time EA is looking for a candidate to focus on the run-time engineering for The Sims 3 animation system. This will involve working with the standard animation run-time framework and adding/enhancing features to allow more advanced capabilities for the animators to rely upon.

This position will work closely with the tools engineer creating animation-specific tools and with the technical artist ensuring that the assets meet the quality and technical requirements needed for the game.

Requirements:
5+ years of game programming experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Math/etc.
Proven skills in C++
Proven skills in advanced data structures.
Proven skills in converting research topics into game code.
Proven skills in implementing advanced techniques for character and object animation.

Preferred:
Mentoring experience of junior engineers.
Supervisory experience with a small (2-5 person) or larger team.
