Job details: SENIOR PROGRAMMER - Core Technology Representative
The Core Technology Representative is the main contact for all technology developed by and for NCsoft's Core Technology group. The role encompasses the management of both internal and external relations, including but not limited to 3rd party development studios.

This position requires the ability to understand and convey the demands of development technologies to the Core group. In addition, applicants must be able to clearly communicate on the capacity of currently adopted technologies and best practice development when applied to NCsoft Europe projects. The role also includes some programming duties within the Core Technology group.
The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in assessing considered project technical feasibility as well as development studios capacity to deliver their considered project on budget and on time with the features advertised.

Requirements:
5+ years professional C++, Perl and Java programming experience
2+ years in a technical role within the gaming industry
In-depth knowledge of the games industry particularly online
Experience with team management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English

Preferred:
Experience developing an MMO preferred
Fluency in one or more other European languages (French,Spanish, German)
