Job details: Gameplay Programmer Our client has been around since 1992 and have been working to bring cutting edge gameplay and graphics into the realm of videogaming. They have proven excellence in 3rd and 1st person action titles and utilize their internally developed state of the art technology and tools to create the best possible gameplay experience.

Working closely with the design staff on an unannounced next-gen project, this person would be responsible as the interface between the technology base and the needs of the design staff. This person should be highly communicative, proactive and self-motivated. This role will require creative and technical thinking as it will be a job that demands the amalgamation of the games creative needs with the technical goals, efficiencies, etc. of the projects codebase.

You will be required to work very closely with the design and art staffs.

Job Requirements:
-6+ years game industry experience.
-Must have significant experience at least one critically and/or commercially successful product.
-Experience programming for PlayStation3 and Xenon a plus.
-Must have experience on a console programming for PS2, XBox, or GameCube.
-Experience in the creation and maitenence of gameplay systems.
-Ability to assist other programmers on defining robust and efficient solutions to systems and tasks.
-Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code
-Ability to adapt to changing requirements.
-Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
-Ability to collaborate as member of a team and work toward team goals.
-Ability to contribute innovative ideas to all aspects of game
