Job details: Software Engineer Software Engineer Tools developer for 3D Environment - Doppelganger

Doppelganger is seeking an exceptional engineer to develop tools for use by artists producing assets for an immersive 3D environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of 3D production tools like 3DStudioMax, and understand how to parse and manipulate files in binary formats. In addition, the candidate should understand all of the basic components that make up a 3D gaming platform (physics, lighting, animation systems, etc).

Responsibilities:

* Develop tools to support the production of art assets
* Extend the game engine (Torque) as necessary.

Desired qualifications:

* Smart, congenial, open-minded, productive
* Commercial experience developing tools for 3D art production
* Excellent C++ programming skills.
* Development experience with Massively Multiuser Online Environments desirable
* 3D graphics experience required
* Comfortable with Agile development culture and test driven development
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
