| subject: Webmaster , Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is looking for Webmaster duration - Full-Time Job details: Reporting to the Director, Information Services and the Vice President Communications and Stakeholder Relations the Webmaster will be responsible for: Planning and Organization ? Development of an annual web strategic plan that is consistent with the corporate goals, integrates management of the Internet and Intranet sites, consistently applies the Sunnybrook brand, meets the needs of existing users while attracting new users and continues to refresh the site to keep it up to date with emerging technologies. ? Develop guidelines that support Sunnybrook's vision and mission for constructing and maintaining Internet/Intranet services ? Develop Web services policies and procedures for the hospital's Inter/Intranet web sites Client Liaison ? Work with internal clients to ensure web content is kept current, compliant with corporate standards and meets the needs of web users. ? Participate in relevant committees to promote Inter/Intranet developments ? Foster the use of new Web technologies Financial Management ? Consult with the Vice President of Communications & Stakeholder Relations to identify and determine Internet start-up and ongoing costs ? Consult with Director, Information Technology to identify and determine Intranet development and ongoing costs Technical Support ? Provide Inter/Intranet site design and development support ? Expand and maintain the hospital's Inter/Intranet sites including integration of a variety of information resources and services ? Link the homepage to other sites of interest on the Internet Quality Improvement ? Maintain awareness of standards and trends investigating and recommending appropriate changes in services or means of providing them ? Continuously improves Inter/Intranet site in response to changing needs ? Demonstrates how the website adds value to the hospital Qualifications/Skills: - University degree (BA or BSc); in Public Relations, Computer Science, or Web Design & Technology - Three years' experience in Web-based technologies and design - Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, FTP, SSH, WebDAV, SMPT, LDAP, ODBC, JDBC, Microsoft IIS 6.0 administration, Microsoft Windows Sharepoint Services, Content management systems, SQL query, SSL certificate management, Microsoft Access 2005, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Project Management - Proficiency in Microsoft SQL 2005 administration, Internet and Intranet connectivity, Adobe Acrobat Photoshop, ASP.NET, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Access 2005 and Financial Management - Ability to work independently and to take direction - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work to deadline and juggle multiple tasks at the same time - Experience working in a large organization in health care an asset Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada email - precilla.roopnaraine@sunnybrook.ca |
