| subject: Web Producer , Pratt Institute Pratt Institute is looking for Web Producer duration - Full Time Job details: POSITION SUMMARY: Under moderate supervision with broad latitude for independent judgement assist the Director of Web Group with project management and web production. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with clients and stakeholders to develop objectives, scope, specifications, and deliverables for projects. - Act as liaison between clients and the web group to communicate schedules, milestones, and manage assets. - Ensure continuity of the project vision and development within the web group by managing status meetings and reports. - Manage documentation, QA, and training for web applications. - Research current and emerging web technologies to identify practices and strategies to enhance the institute's online presence. - Support the web group with design and production as required. - Perform all other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience managing and producing web projects. Skills: Knowledge of project management principles, methods and techniques; and proven organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail required. Must have working knowledge of interactive front-end technologies (i.e., HTML, JavaScript, Flash, CSS, DHTML), browser and platform constraints, and programing logic. Experience with visual design concepts and tools (i.e., PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks) required. Experience with php and MySQL a plus. Other: Should be familiar with current and emerging web technologies.
