WEBZEN America, Inc. is looking for Web Producer duration - Full Time Job details: Web Producer The Web Producer is responsible for Webzen Americas online presence as presented to consumers and key audiences. This is a role that places strong emphasis on global cooperation and coordination with multiple stake holders. A strong technical and process orientation are key for achieving success as the Web Producer. This role will also benefit from a strong passion for the needs of our customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Work with parent company stake holders to help define North American web production process and technology needs Take leadership position in the creative development and technical implementation of North American led product and corporate websites Responsible for scoping projects, communicating with idea originators and managing these projects from a variety phases including in some cases from inception through to completion This position may require the individual to take a strong role in the development of www.webzengames.com Manage project resources, assets, staff, schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost effective site utilization Familiarity with the challenges of localizing content that may originate from a variety of international sources Able to adopt and leverage existing web development technology tools and systems Works with development teams to coordinate implementation of site programming Works with Operations team to ensure site productivity Provide vision for future iterations of web content Responsible for process and procedure for web pushes and updates Leads a team and possible outsourcing groups to create interesting site design and creative assets Education and Work Experience (qualifications): Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, Flash, and other web technologies and trends This position requires a strong understanding of design and technical skills Strong Project and People Management Skills Familiarity with Content Manage Systems and back end support for Online Community Relations support Minimum of 5 years web content production experience Experience with online consumer polling methodology and systems Exposure to billing systems and required web infrastracture Strong understanding of back end database technologies such as SQL and Oracle and how these are implemented on the web Prefer experience in entertainment and gaming industries Strong preference to experience in building sites utilizing a subscription model with subscription revenue Must be a team player and be able to delegate when necessary Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States Contact info: 6601 Center Drive West Los Angeles, CA 90045 http://www.webzengames.com E-mail: jobs@us.webzen.com |
