| subject: Web and Multimedia Localization Lead , Lionbridge Lionbridge is looking for Web and Multimedia Localization Lead Job details: The web and multimedia lead position requires analysis and preparation of web and multimedia file formats for translation into a range of foreign languages. As a lead project architecture, including resource planning, execution models, and financial forecasting are also part of the initial analysis and preparation step. After this preparation, the candidate serves as a technical support for translators during the translations process, and engineers files to function properly in the target language, including checking for linguistic issues such as truncation, issues around text expansion, and support of extended characters and doublebyte characters. In the case of multimedia, this can include modifying or creating animations, modifying or writing action scripts, editing a Flash timeline, integrating audio and video, graphics editing, and editing and formatting text boxes. This can also include creating a localized directory structure for hosting the localized site or web application, writing scripts and macros for deployment of the files, and editing the files to address issues introduced during translation. In addition, the web and multimedia lead can expect to be involved with software projects, especially client server and web based applications, and should posses experience in software localization as well as web localization Lionbridge Technologies, Inc.
