| subject: Web Marketing Director , SmartPak SmartPak is looking for Web Marketing Director duration - Indefinite Job details: SmartPak Equine is seeking a Web Marketing Director who will actively manage the acquisition marketing efforts designed to drive site traffic, sales, and new customer growth. This position will be accountable for customer growth within certain financial boundaries, and demonstrate an increased return on investment through rigorous testing. In addition to contributing to the overall marketing strategy, responsibilities include: Paid and Natural Search, E-mail Marketing, Affiliate/Partnership Marketing programs, Display Advertising, and other new-media activities. Specific responsibilities include: ? Develop and execute an online customer acquisition plan designed to maximize site traffic and sales for two e-commerce sites (equine and canine), while working within acceptable cost per new customer parameters. ? Collaborate with Web Content Manager to optimize sites for Natural Search. ? Execute an effective e-mail marketing program that seeks to achieve business development goals. Work with internal team members to create/obtain relevant content. ? Design, implement and track test strategies that seek to improve on traffic building activities. ? Manage external ecommerce vendors involved with email and traffic building efforts (Email Labs, etc.). ? Oversee Paid Search efforts on Google, Yahoo, and MSN (including keyword management and shopping portals). The ideal candidate will have experience in managing customer acquisition programs, online media budgets, and in forming partnerships with online portals and related businesses. In addition to the execution of marketing plans, the candidate will be a proven leader who can drive online marketing strategy. Experience in the Equine industry is a plus, but not a requirement. Requirements include: ? Proven record of consumer marketing and driving online sales growth. ? 3+ years of Ecommerce/Agency Marketing experience. ? Experience with top line and marketing ROI accountability. ? Demonstrated understanding of web analytic tools and practices. ? Hands on experience in implementing Search Engine Marketing campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and other engines including tracking, keyword development, bid strategies, analysis, and optimization. ? Ability to analyze, organize, and integrate large amounts of complex, disparate information into clear presentations. ? Desire to work in a team-based environment. ?
