| subject: Web Developer , is looking for Web Developer duration - Full Time Job details: Manage School's websites, including those for academic departments and administrative units. Create conceptual framework, and mapping. Consult with department heads/chairs regarding website needs. Create new and modify existing scripts; consult with School or central Information Technology areas as necessary to generate data for creation of web pages. Enhance web applications to meet new demands. Recommend and implement new technologies to meet service needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3 years' related experience developing and maintaining websie content, access, and security, and creating and modifying scripts or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to manage effective web sites for non-profit and/or educational organizations. Skilled in HTML, Javascript, Linux, ColdFusion, Oracle Fusion, PHP and MYSQL databases. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop/Imageready, Mambo, and Macromedia flash. Excellent planning, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of web programming language and variety and emerging technologies. Preferred: Master's degree in Educational Technology, Interactive Telecommunications or related field. Related experience managing higher education web sites. Good written and oral communication skills and ability to translate technical jargon into plain speak. Ability to work well with others and to assist web site administrative staff in conceptualizing web sites. Well versed in current web technology and recent development in order to offer innovative solutions for new projects.
