| subject: Web Designer , Southeastern University Southeastern University is looking for Web Designer duration - Indefinite Job details: Southeastern University, a liberal arts Christian university, is accepting applications for the position of Web Designer. The Web Designer reports to the Director of Enrollment Marketing.. The purpose of this position is to consult with technical and marketing staff to plan & develop both our Internet and Intranet web sites in a manner consistent with Southeastern University design and branding guidelines, policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable regulations. - Manage and develop the look and feel of the university web site based on existing graphic and branding guidelines. - Work closely with the various departments in the development of content and design for the sites - Track and report web site visitors, trends and customer concerns - Manage and design the college Internets and Intranets sites - Develop technical architecture of web sites including scripting, database design, and user interface design. - Stay abreast of industry trends and all applicable technologies, graphic design tools, and new languages. - Provide support for the development, design, testing, technical documentation, and rollout of new web-based customer services for web sites. - Manage copy creating and/or acquisition for all college sites - Maintain repository for college logos and photos and color palette - Create ad hoc print publications and html based e-mail campaigns - Manage search engine rankings and link status Minimum qualifications are: - Bachelors degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Arts or Communications from a four year college or university - Minimum three years of related experience Experience and training requirements include: - Excellent graphic design and layout skills with attention to usability - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage projects - Ability to work within tight timelines and within a team environment - Solid knowledge of: HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, Flash and JavaScript - Possess a working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Southeastern University is a liberal arts Christian university affiliated with the Assemblies of God.
