| subject: Web Coordinator - Instructional Development and Technology , Washington State University Washington State University is looking for Web Coordinator - Instructional Development and Technology duration - Indefinite Job details: POSITION DESCRIPTION Washington State University?s Center for Distance and Professional Education (CDPE) is seeking a Web Coordinator to provide daily administration, development, and maintenance of web sites for the Center. The successful candidate will be involved in performing selected graphic arts or publication activities requiring prescribed academic preparation or special visual techniques; requiring original design and layout; requiring professional-level computer programming skills; and independently perform work assignments. They may also have project leadership responsibilities for multi-faceted integrated database and web applications. Working title: New Media Programmer REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in web site design, development and maintenance and a bachelor's degree in information science or related field or any combination of relevant education and experience that totals seven (7) years. * Demonstrated ability to work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies. * Must possess at time of hire a valid driver's license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming practices such as ActionsScript 2.0 and JavaScript. * Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, and CSS. * Knowledge of databases. * AICC/SCORM 1.2 integration experience (Flash, WBT, and CBT) preferably in an eLearning development environment. * Ability to develop audio and video resources.
