| Tester Salary: £30k to £35k Location: City Company: MetaPack Date posted: 4 Jul 2005 Working for the No1 provider of delivery solutions to the Retail Sector, this is an excellent opportunity for tester to join a dynamic, expanding business based in EC1 in an interesting and varied role. Although a relatively small company the clients are large retailers including JLP, B&Q, Dixons, PCWorld, Comet and Mothercare Candidates are expected to have at least 2 years experience of different types of testing as well as the ability to write and execute scripts. Any experience of testing Java, J2EE and Websphere will be an advantage, as will experience with automated testing tools. Hands on ability to query database and use query tools e.g. SQL, Toad etc is a necessity with this black box testing role. Duties will include testing new software releases, identifying issues during testing and providing accurate documentation and feedback to developers / product leads and creation of tests scripts for new product releases.
