We are a full service online and offline communications, marketing, design and branding agency with a solely blue-chip client base. You will have a combination of solid core Project Management skills paired with an in-depth technical understanding of the computing and Internet fields. Ideally from a developer background with at least two years' dedicated project management responsibility, you should be able to work professionally with agency and client members across business and marketing disciplines as well as technology. Ideally you will be a member of an appropriate industry association (BCS, PMI etc) and hold formal qualifications in the field of project management such as PMP or PRINCE2. Essential Project Management Skills * Scope, schedule and manage multiple complex projects, ensuring they fulfill agreed strategic, time, quality, and budget targets. * Develop proposals and statements of work to define end-to-end solutions. * Create accurate project plans and work schedules based on product and work breakdowns. * Assess and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle * Communicate effectively technical and project related information across all levels * Understand and manage both technical and creative disciplines * Develop good working relationships with the client and key stakeholders * Identify and resolve problems, as well as working closely with technical team members * Clearly identify project goals and take a broad view of the project in the organisational context * Maintain and monitor progress on the project * Manage budgets and prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports You should also have experience with: * Managing project through the full life-cycle software development process * Experience of accepted software development methodologies (e.g. MSF, RAD) in a web environment * Standard project management toolsets e.g. MS Project, issue tracking and source control Required Technical and Management Skills * Good working knowledge of the IT and Internet industry * Experience with managing technical projects with a high level of technology exposure * Ability to liaise with technical contacts from developer to director level * Hands on experience with core web technologies such as HTML etc * Good understanding of the Microsoft Internet platform - ASP, .NET, IIS, SQL Server * Knowledge of non-Microsoft technologies (such as Java, PHP, MySQL etc) would be beneficial * Familiarity with databases technology and the SQL language * Knowledge of n-tier e-commerce architectures design and operation * High level understanding of network infrastructure and Internet transport protocols * Knowledge of XML, XSLT * Working knowledge of accepted software notations such as UML The Ideal Candidate is * Motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, driven and conscientious * Very capable, confident, determined and committed individual * Outgoing with a strong personality * Excellent attention to detail a must * Good written and verbal presentation skills * Ability to work effectively within tight timings and under pressure * Enjoys taking on responsibility * Professional * Sociable with work colleagues and clients Absolutely NO agencies please.
