Paradigm Entertainment, Inc. is looking for Systems Programmer duration - Full Time Job details: Systems Programmer Job Description: Utilize your expertise in research, design and implementation of solid, stable game engine or embedded system development to create adaptable technology & tools for use in multiple next-generation game projects. You will work closely with Artists and other Programmers to create effective libraries that improve the implementation of the game. You will work to achieve individual, team, and project goals. Previous game engine or embedded system is critical. Primary Responsibilities: Experience should include but not limited to development of multithreaded application, low-level memory managers, math libraries, input/output subsystems, networking and data streaming. General Education / Work Experience: BSCS, BSEE or equivalent experience Minimum 3-5 years C/C++ programming experience Experience with console (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) game development PC & handhelds a plus Strong math skills (Algebra, Trigonometry, 3D Math, Physics) Expert technical design, coding, debugging Proactive problem solver investigating all facets of the issue to seek resolution Excellent communication skills working within a large team of other engineers, artists, designers and producers Organized and detail oriented able to focus on quality AND deadlines simultaneously Able to work independently and within a team environment Additional specialized skills: Low-level graphics programming ability; including Assembly language Rendering techniques; including Scenegraphs, BSP and portal culling and HLSL and CG shaders Critical experience with cross-compilers and multiple simultaneous development environments Online and offline tool development Audio programming If you have completed work on a shipped game, please proudly include those titles!
