| subject: Sr. Engineer , Cranky Pants Games Cranky Pants Games is looking for Sr. Engineer duration - Full Time Job details: Sr. Engineer Job Description: Cranky Pants Games creates innovative and fun games for next-generation consoles. As such we are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting individual to help lead our team technically for our next-generation console games. We are seeking a person who has previous game development experience, a passion for building next-gen console games and the ability to learn quickly. The right candidate for this job will have an industry track record of shipping high-quality games. Responsibilities: Become the natural leader of the engineering staff. This will require you to earn engineerings respect through leading by example and providing constant and high-quality answers to hard technical problems Work on (coding) difficult technical issues Architect and implement complex systems Organize and participate in regular code reviews Become the "go to" person for all Unreal 3 technical issues Help identify and solve complex productivity issues Participate in/lead cross-disciplinary meetings and solve problems Help schedule engineering effort for the team Help identify/use new technologies to make better games and/or improve productivity Qualification/Education: BS in CS or EE or equivalent professional experience At least 5 years in the games industry Minimum of 5 years experience in a rapidly moving, constantly changing environment Experience in C/C++ required.
