The successful candidate will have worked as a senior unix technician/ administrator for ATLEAST 3 YEARS. You will also have the following skills: ? AIX 5.1 & 5.2 ? IBM Workload Manager ? IBM P-Series administration ? Veritas Netbackup 4.5 & 5.0 ? Veritas Cluster Server 3.5 & 4.0 ? Veritas Volume Manager 3.x ? HP-UX 11.0 an advantage ? Experience of large fibrechannelSAN ? Good written and verbal communication skills. ? Good team player. You will be working closely with other technicians and providing support, maintenance, knowledge expertise to develop and support aix and veritas based solutions. This will include contributing to the efficient and effective planning, testing, implementation and operational management of such solutions and to ensure services designed and delivered meet the business needs in terms of suitability recoverability, reliability, performance, scalability & cost. You will be providing design proposals, documentation, planning and implementation of technical solutions as defined within projects.
