| Senior Software Developer / Team Leader Salary: NEG c£60 - 80k Location: UK Company: Elan IT Date posted: 5 Aug 2005 Our client, a leading global provider of data, news and analytics is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Software Developer / Team Leader to manage a small team of developers within their Data License team. The candidate MUST have 5 years of C/C programming experience, Java programming experience, Perl scripting experience, and multithreaded programming experience. The candidate must have 2 years managing a small team of developers, be self motivated and be able to work independently. Experience in client server programming, design patterns and database programming are a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also a plus. Knowledge of J2EE framework is a major plus. BS, MS or Ph.D degree or equivalent in CS or closely related field would advantageous.
