SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER A Senior Software Developer is required to design, develop, test and maintain a critical software application for strategic, global clients. To join the existing development team responsible for the design; development, testing and maintenance of this application and to deliver functional requirements as defined by the business and sales teams. Deliverables: Ø Functional Specifications Ø Technical Specifications Ø Software / software changes Ø Test Plans Ø Test Results Ø Deployment Plans In the Software Development Team you will experience the full project life-cycle, and be responsible for developing and maintaining a world class toolset. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Ø Graduate calibre Ø 5+ years commercial experience, to include: Ø 1+ year experience developing the .NET framework, ideally with C# and ASP.NET Ø 2+ years experience with databases, ideally Oracle (8i or later) Ø Practical experience of SQL and stored procedures (PL*SQL) – developing and executing Ø 2+ years experience object-orientated analysis and design, ideally with UML and an object-orientated language e.g. C#, Java or Smalltalk Ø Experience in delivering and maintaining distributed / n-tier applications Ø Exposure to all stages of the software development life cycle Ø Demonstrated ability to work in a team development environment, for instance with source control and code reviews / pair programming Ø Demonstrated ability to work to and report progress against a project planDemonstrated technical team leadership and mentoring ability Ø Awareness of best practices in data protection and security REWARDS Market leading remuneration is on offer.
