| subject: Senior Network Engineer , Electronic Arts, EA Mobile Games Electronic Arts, EA Mobile Games is looking for Senior Network Engineer duration - Full Time Job details: Senior Network Engineer Job Title: Senior Network Engineer, EA Mobile Entertainment Department: Studio Technology Reports to: Technical Director Location: EA MOBILE, Los Angeles, CA Position Summary: EA Mobile has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer, where you will work on the EA Mobile MMOG server technology with an emphasis on the global market. You will have a direct impact on the performance and scalability of our mobile client/server technologies. Defining and developing long-term Network strategies for EA Mobile will be key to your success. You will also help build the overall network architecture to provide EA Mobile a competitive edge. Responsibilities: Apply your deep knowledge and experience with modern hardware and software solutions to provide optimal redundancy and scalability to ? Utilize your deep understanding of modern routing and switching technologies to network solutions Analyze, recommend, and implement network equipment and configurations according to established standards and processes Act as a technical project manager as needed on projects. This will require tracking deliverables on own and dependant projects Participate in defining and developing long-term Network strategies for EA Mobile. This will require tracking deliverables on own and dependant projects Develop and maintain positive working relationships with software engineers and production teams globally Qualifications: 8+ years programming experience Expert Knowledge of Database driven, highly scalable server architectures Experience deploying large scale web sites (think Amazon.com) or massively multiplayer game services (World of Warcraft, etc) Socket level programming expertise Experience with several enterprise grade J2EE application servers (Weblogic, Websphere, IPlanet) Development experience on mobile phones (J2ME, BREW, Symbian, etc) a definite plus Demonstrate a solid understanding of structured and object-oriented programming Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills; solution oriented individual Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective communications skills Comfortable working with people to resolve challenging problems Self motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities Attention to detail A positive, can-do attitude EAIts in the game.
