They require a Senior Java Developer for their Operational Support Services division, however this is not just a support role. Your strong technical knowledge will be stretched on the complexity and diversilty of the specialist projects my Client has. You will preferably come from a development background and have circa 4 years + experience of Development and Team Leadership. Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and BEA Weblogic is the most important aspect of this role, together obviously with very good people skills. This role involves alot of autonomy so a good degree of initiative is important. Other tech skills that you will possibly have are JSP, EJB, JDBC, XML, XSLT, ANT, Oracle and Unix etc. Your strong Tech knowledge will also enable you to oversee high level application maintenance on a preventative, adaptive and perfective basis .
