| subject: Senior Game Programmer , The Collective The Collective is looking for Senior Game Programmer duration - Full Time Job details: Senior Game Programmer Senior Game Programmer Job Summary The ideal candidate would have experience working on game mechanics in one or more triple-A games, and have the ability to design, plan and program complex game components. This would include areas such as camera control, scripting systems, level-specific game mechanics, working with low-level graphics APIs to meet a particular end result, artificial intelligence, and any other game-centric features. The candidate must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of understanding towards game technology production and an adaptability to work directly with members of the design and art teams to achieve results that they are happy with. Job Responsibilities Programming of core game components, to required coding standards Researching into the latest cutting edge games, and assessing how to push the envelope and improve upon implementations.
