| subject: Lead Software Engineer , Mutant Interactive Mutant Interactive is looking for Lead Software Engineer duration - Full Time Job details: Lead Software Engineer Duties: Lead all aspects of the software engineering pipeline. Provide engineering advice to senior studio management. Develop game engine for a playable prototype. Oversee proprietary tool development. Assist in the hiring process of all members of the engineering department. Drive the processes and infrastructure surrounding the game development cycle. Requirements: At least 5 years of console game development experience, including 2 shipped titles or more at a senior level. PlayStation3 or Xbox 360 development experience is preferred. Proven track record of leading a team of software engineers. Knowledge of software design, architectural patterns, and tool development. Track record of implementing process improvement techniques and metrics programs. Knowledge of multiple development languages and tools. Advanced degree in Computer Science is preferred. Ability to work in a small team. Excellent communication skills a must. Strong sense of ownership and passion for creating top quality games.
