Experience with the DS, PSX, N64 or GBA is a strong plus. The ideal candidate has at least five years experience and at least two shipped titles. Amaze is located in the heart of downtown Austin, within walking distance of restaurants, theaters, hike and bike trails, and music clubs. Job Responsibilities: Fluent in C/C++ programming with excellent debugging and optimization skills Implement AI, player controls or other interactions Schedule and scope programming task. Oversee programming team to ensure coding standards and completion of tasks. Works closely with the members of the team to ensure design and quality expectations are met Passionate about games and creative problem solving Excellent team and communications skills Work closely with client and others on team to ensure design and quality expectations are met. Leads documentation and scheduling requirements for project. Provides assistance to less experienced programming team members and others on the production team. Delegates where appropriate.
