How do I know what features I need?

How do I know what Web Hosting features I need?
The answer is not simple. Here are some things you need to consider: How much Disk Space do I need? If you've already designed and built your Web Site, you know how much space you will need to get started. Think about how much you expect your site to grow, and make sure you buy enough space for at least the next year. Haven't built your site yet? Do you know what types of files will make up your site? You will need to estimate how much space you need. Remember - its always better to estimate too high - that way you don't need to upgrade your account or move your account if you run out of space. How much Bandwidth will I need? How popular will your site be? How much of your site will they look at? You will need to estimate how much bandwidth each user will consume. (For example: How much they will download each time they visit.) Also, you will need to estimate how many visitors will come to your site. Multiply the number of visitors by the amount of bandwidth they will consume, and you will have a rough estimate of how much Bandwidth you will need. The same rule applies here as it does with Disk Space - always try to estimate higher than you really need.
